Couple in traditional Indian attire sharing a candid smile - Sydney engagement photography

Wedding Photography in Sydney

Your wedding is one day, and it moves quickly. Our job is to capture it the way it felt: the quiet moments and the big ones, the people you love, the way the light fell. Years from now, the photographs should take you straight back.

We photograph weddings across Sydney with a calm, candid approach and genuine respect for every kind of celebration, from an intimate ceremony for twenty to a multi-day cultural wedding for five hundred.

Our Approach

We work candid first. Rather than directing you all day, we move through it quietly and capture things as they happen, stepping in only for the portraits and family groupings you want, then stepping back so you can be present at your own wedding. It is a relaxed way to be photographed, and it is where the most honest images come from. Our guide to candid wedding photography explains the thinking.

The result is a gallery that tells the whole story: the nerves in the morning, the ceremony, the family, the party, and the small in-between moments that explain how the day actually felt.

Every Kind of Wedding

We photograph across every culture and faith that celebrates in this city, with particular depth in Muslim, South Asian and multicultural weddings. Knowing the order and meaning of your ceremony is part of our preparation, not something you should have to explain on the day. Our multicultural and Nikkah wedding photography page covers this side of our work in full.

How Much Coverage Do You Need?

A registry wedding might need two hours. A single-venue day usually sits between five and eight. A multi-event cultural wedding is planned event by event. The honest answer depends on your run sheet, and our guide to wedding photography hours will get you close before we even speak. Send us your rough timeline and we will recommend exactly what fits, including where fewer hours would honestly do.

Adding Film

Many couples add videography, and one coordinated team covering both keeps the day smoother and the style consistent. That option lives on our wedding videography page and in the Duo packages.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples book six to eighteen months ahead, and popular spring and autumn Saturdays go first. If your date is closer than that, ask anyway. Gaps happen.

How many photos do we receive?

It scales with coverage, but a full wedding day typically delivers several hundred edited images. Every image in your gallery is individually edited.

Do you photograph multicultural and religious ceremonies?

Yes, and it is a specialty. We prepare for the specific order and meaning of your ceremony beforehand, whatever tradition it follows.

Can we give you a photo list?

Family groupings, yes please. A shot-by-shot list for the whole day works against candid coverage, but key people and must-have combinations are exactly what we want from you.

Do you travel outside Sydney?

Yes. Sydney and the Hills are home ground, and we regularly cover the Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands, Wollongong and the Hunter Valley, with any travel quoted up front.
